Swift Error Rectification: This new functionality allows taxpayers to rectify errors in their income tax challans within a convenient seven-day window from the date of their tax payment.
Applicability: The online Challan Correction feature is applicable to challans related to Assessment Year (AY) 2020-21 (Financial Year 2019-20) and onwards.
Key Details Correction: With this option, you can rectify three crucial details:
- Assessment Year
- Major Heads
- Minor Heads
